CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIAN_A_,
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 1ST,1939 .
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the
City of Richmond , Indaina, met in the office
of said Board Friday December 1st , 1939 at 9 :00
o' clock A. M. Messrs. John R. Britten, Simeon W.
Hodgin and Henry. U. Johnson being present the
11/ following proceedings were had to- wit ;
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were
read and approved.
A report was made as to the condition of the
Heating Plant at the City Building, Mr. Hodgin
stating it could be placed in first class con-
dition at an 4g'timate cost of about $1,100.00.
Some discussion was had in regard to the kind
of lights to be installed on the Whitewater Boul-
evard near the Senior High School , the Board tak-
ing the same under further advisement , the matter.
to be presented to the Board of School Trustees
and the Common Council serving as a Committee in
charge of the operation of the Light Plant .
Mr. T. W. Druley was present in regards to the
garbage collection for the City.
After allowing claims to the amount of $1,969.14
they adjourned.
