OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF WORKS
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17TH,1939
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City off
Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said Board
Friday, November 17th, 1939 , at 9 :OC o' clock A. M.
Messrs. John R. Britten, Simeon W. Hodgin and Henry U.
Johnson being present; the following proceedings were
had to-wit ;
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and
approved.
Mr. Eadler Building Inspector, reported a section of
the boiler at the City Building was in bad condition
and the matter had been taken up with the Matlack Ins-
urance Agency who has the Insurance on said boiler and
an adjustment had been agreed upon as to the expense
of replacing the section, this being .approved by the
Board.
Mr. Brandon Griffis who is the owner of land on the
East and South line of Glenn miller requested some pro-
vision be made for a line fence between the properties.
This was taken under advisement and referred to the
City Attorney Johnson.
A request for a half dozen rubber coats for the Fire
iJepa.rtment was approved at an estimate cost of ?r345. 00.
Alpetition to cut the curb to, 8 width .of 12 feet was
granted to Marion Zuttenneister. . 2221 Reeveston =Road .
After allowin claims to the amount of $6,321.59
they adjourned.
