The Board of Public Works and •Safety of the City
of Richmond,Indiana, met in the office of the said '
Board Friday September 8th, 1979, at 9:00 o'clock
A.M. Messrs.. John R. Britten, Simeon W.Hodgin and
Henry U. Johnson being present the following proc-
eedings were had to-wit ;
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved.
Al incandescent Type Street Light was ordered
installed on Rail Road Street west of Sheridan St-
reet.
The Western Union Telegraph Co. was gieanted pe-
ri. ition to string a wire across South 8th Street
aiid''along the first alley south of Main Street to
the local Broadcasting Station in the Colonial Bui-
lding for the purpose of broadcasting the Base Ball
score.
The Insurance Committee composed of Dori Bell and
T.B. Morrow were present in the interest of insura-
nceof the City.
The City Clerk. was ordered to otify Mr. Lon Ken-
nedy of the Kennedy Clothing Company 816 Main Street
to build the curb and the side-walk to the regular
grade at the location where the alley has been clo-
sed.
After allowing claims to the amount of $18520.00
they adjourned..
