The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in the office of . said Board, Friday, August llth,
1939 at nine o ' clock A.M. Messrs . John R. Britten Simeon W.
Hodgin and Henry U. Johnson being present the following procee-
dings were had to-wit ;
The minutes of the proceeding meeting were approved as read
Action by the Board on a request for a light at Rail Road and
Sheridan Streets was posponed until a later. date.
August the llth 1939 , being the date set by the Board of
Works for hearing any remonstrance in the vacation of a port-
ion of an Old County Road running across and through Tract 181
Official Map City of Richmond, Indiana, and known as Declaratory
Resolution No. 278-1939, there being no remonstrance against
said vacation on proper motion the Board confirmed said action P
of the Board as in Declaratory Resolution No. 278-1939 , the date
for a hearing of any remonstrences on the assessment of beneffits
and damages being August 25th, 1939. .<
after allowing claims to the amount of $12r592.85 they
