FRIDAY, July 28,1939
The Board of Public 7vorks and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in the office of said Board, Friday July 28th, 1939 ,
at 9 :00 o' clock A.M. Messrs . John R.Britten Simeon W. Hodgin and
Henry U. Johnson .being present the following proceedings were
had to-wit ;
The minutes of the preceeding meeting was approved es read. .
The assessment roll including benefits and damages in the clo-
sing of an alley and a portion of a street in the Geo. H.Inolle=
nberg' s Sub Division as in Declaratory Resolutions Nos.275 and
276was ad-ppted and approved by the Board.
A request for two sets of bases. to be used on the Soft Ball
Diamonds was approved and the Street Superintendent was inst-
ructed to purchase same.
The Board authorized the purchase of a fire alarm box to be
used for an emergency, at an estimate cost of about $125. 00. .
Fire Chief Harry Williams reported the north: room in the bas-
ement at the City Building had been repaired and prepared for
a work room as h-d been recommended, by the Board. ' -
After allowing claims to the amount of S2, 661.10 - they
adjourned.
