AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING FROM STATE APPROVED NJPA
PURCHASING CO -OP BY THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret will purchase 2018 Leach Packer Unit Truck w/ under the
NJPA Contract #1 12014-LEG; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of goods and services by a local contracting unit is authorized by the
Local Public Contracts Law, NJSA 40A:11 -12; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Borough QPA ensured that the vendor has been awarded 2018
Leach Packer Unit Truck w/Plow NJPA Contract #112014 -LEG; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret
that the awarded Cooperative Purchasing vendor has been approved for the purchase of goods
and services for the amount of $248,400.20:

and certified as a true copy of the
original on August 18, 2017.
