Funding Transfer Request
I would like to request a transfer of funds from unused salary funds to thud the purchase of two
additional police vehicles. We currently have 4 ordered and are in at the Bloomington dealer. The
contract and P.O. are secured for those.
As you are aware, police vehicles are in short supply. Community Ford of Bloomington received
two additional 2022 Ford Explorer Pursuit vehicles spec'd the same as our four. I would like to
request funding for the purchase of the two addition vehicles as well as the graphic and lighting

needs. Quotes are attached. The Police Vehicles line item# is After the
purchase of the initial four cars,there will he approximately$7,000. Left, which obviously wont
cover the costs of the additional two vehicles, graphics or lighting needs.
Additionally, I request the amount of$8,000.00 to be transferred into line item# 1101-0370-312-
3981, known as other administrative expenses. This is the fund that we have been paying the
psychiatric treatment fees for multiple officers since the killing of Officer Seara Burton. This
therapy is ongoing.
