Present : Co -chairs Andrea Nevins and Sharon Tennstedt, Lisa Donovan ( COA Programs Coordinator) ,
Steve Holmes, Jay Greene , Honey Pivirotto ( Fin Com Liaison ) , Penny Holeman, Janet Stolzer
Absent : Denise Rego Director, Laura Usher
Meeting called to order and Governors' Orders read by Sharon Tennstedt at 1 : 00 pm
Minutes of October 21, 2021 were unanimously approved .

Implementation FY22
DIRECTORS' REPORT :

- As of tgday, 80 frozen meals have been sold
- Marilyn Dearborn is not available to serve on our board as she has a time conflict . We will
need a member of our board to be a Liaison to the FORE .
Program Reports :
Action Plan FY22 (See Action Plan Implementation )
Lisa reported that Keep Moving, Tai Chi, Senior Fitness, and QI Gong are ongoing .
Consumer Affairs program has been filmed and is being edited
Lisa to schedule a meeting in January for COA Activities for Older Americans Month
Storm Outage :
Andrea noted that the last storm outage lasted 3 days for some Brewster residents .
Fredericks Court and Wells Court were hard hit . We need to do better planning for power
outage problems ( i . e . , Shelf ready food , generators for housing areas ) . Andrea asked that a
meeting be set up with Denise and Chief Moran and others to pursue these items .

Grant Opportunities :
- Jay Greene and Denise will put together a framework for grants .
Committee Reports :
Sharon said that the Vision Planning Committee is planning public engagements, an online
survey and " Pop Up" events around town .
Penny noted that at a Board of Health meeting it was stated that some Seniors had not
received their second vaccine shot . Could COA help publicize and coordinate to close the
vaccination gap . Sharon will work with Denise to email Seniors on the issue .
Cindy noted that December 11th the town will host an Open House to the Cape Cod Sea
Camps . More details to follow .
