OFFICE OF THE. BOARD OF WORK
CITY OF RICHMOND, ' INDIANA,,
FRIDAY DECEMBER 16, 1938.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of the said II/
Board Friday December 16, 19388, at 9 :00 o' clock A.M.
Messrs. .Joseph M. Waltermann, Simeon Hodgin and
William Kelley, Jr. , being prsent the following
proceedings were had , to-wit:
The minutes of the pr.eceeding meeting were approved
as read .
The Clerk was instructed to notify John .0'Maley,
President of the Reatil Merchants Association to
remove the tree at 8th and Main Streets.
Jame Pharos presented a claim to the Board for
damages done to his automobile when he ran into a
ditch on East Main Street". The Board allowed this
claim to the amount of $20.55.
City Attorney Kelley reported that he was able
to settle the Louis Erbse accident case for. the sum
of $350.00. The Board approved this settlement and ordered
the Controller to pay this claim.
There being no further business to come before the
Board, it adjourned.
