480 OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF WORKS
CITY OF RICHMOND INDIANA,
SATURDAY`r NOVEt:iB ER 12, 1938.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of the said
Board , SattrdayoNovember712;?1938, at 9 :00 o' clock
A.M. Messrs. Joseph M. Waltermann, Simeon Hodgin
and William Kelley, Tr. , being present the following
proceedings were had, to-wit :
A petition for a water main extension on Gardner
Street was referred to the Water Works Corporation
for investigation.
Mr. Brandon Griffiths and Byrum Robbins were
before the Board protesting the vacation of the
alley between 6th and 7th Streets intersecting
Main Street, and the Board agreed to investigate
the same, and appear in court if necessary.
The Board approved the recommendation of the
Building Inspector J. Edward Higgs on Resolution
No. 5-1938 approving Gypsum Company T & G Weather-
Board.
Claims to the amount of $23,204.58 were allowed
after which the Board adjourned.
