FRIDAY JUIY 16, 1937.
The Hoard of Public Works and Safety of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said Board,
Friday July 16, 1937 , at 9 :00 o ' clock A. M. Messrs.

Joseph c4. 1.altermann and William Kelley, Jr. , being
present , the following proceedings were had , to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved
as read.
The Board issued orders to move a fire hydrant at •
the northwest corner of West 10th & Peacock Road, so
as to clear the sidewalk which was being built at this
location.
The Building Inspedtor was granted authority to
have the floor covering repaired at the Police Radio
Station.
Street Superintendent reported that the City
Purchasing Agent and himself recommended to the Board
that: the Dodge truck be purchased from (milcrest Co.
for their bid price of 'rS7 ® 00 . The Board adopted this
recommendation.
The following bids were received on the following
specifications for coal for the various city buildings :
Item #1. 150 Tons more or less 1 " nut and slack ( for
stoker) f.o .b. our siding.
Item #2. 100 Tons, more or less Pocahontas Mine Run,
f.o .b. our siding
Item #3. 60 Tons, more or less Pocahontas Mine Run.
f.o .b. our siding.
Item #4. 30 Tons, more or less Pocahontas Mine Run,
f.o .b. Bidders Yard.
Item `5. 15 Tons , more or less Kentucky Block, f.o .b.
Bidders Yard .
Item #6. 15 Tons , more or less Pocahontas Nut , f.o .b.
Bidders Yard .
Alternate 1. Delivery charges on Item #1 to City Building.
Alternate 2. Delivery charges on Items #2 to #2,3,4 & %
