RIDAY NOVE BJR 13, 1936.
The Board of Public '.orks and. Safety of the City
of Richmond , Indiana , met in the office of said
Board , Friday November 13, 1936, at 9 :00 o ' clock
A.M. Messrs . Joseph M. waltermann, Simeon Bodgin
and ",`illiam Kelley, Jr. being present , the following
proceedings were had to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved
as read.
City Engineer Fodr in asked the auriroval of the
following easements for land donated to the City,
for the puruose of constructing a boulevard along
'rdhitewater River : Charles and l.lvina Schniedwind,
Thelma and Lelend Shafer, Cam. and Tennie Stevens
and Joseph T. and Crace Wetherill, upon Hodgin' s
explanation that this was all to be constructed as
a -;A project , the Board accepted these easements.
communication from the Travelers Insurance Co .
relative to certian changes in the boiler in the
City ijuilding, vas referred to the Building- Tnsoector.
City Attorney Kelley was instructed to look over
the. deed for the property in Starr Park, and report
back to the Board at their next meeting.
11 request for yellow curb in front of '.:alter
Murray' s place on North 7th Street was referred
to the City 'nwineer for investigation.
The Clerk was authorized to communicate with the
United States Senartment of '.criculture in an effort
to secure information as to how the nuisance created
by birds in certain sections of the city ,might be
eliminated.
Claims to the amount of } 12 , 327 . 28 were allowed
after which the "board adjourned.
