The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said Board Friday August 7 , 1936 at 9 :00 o ' clock A.M. Messrs. Joseph M. Walterman, Simeon Hodgin and William Kelley, Jr. being present, ° the following proceedings were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved • as read in Council. City Engineer Hodgin read the report of Charles H. Hurd, Consulting Engineer for the Sewage Treatment Works, relative to the the final report on the construction of Division II under contract with McKechnie Peirce Company of Toledo, Ohio, said report approving the said construction under the contract with McKechnie Peirce Company of Toledo, Ohio. The Board on motion adcepted this recommendation. The Clerk was authorized to secure 2 ticket boxes equiped with locks for the Municipal .Ball Park, and was also authorized to issue tickets for said park to Frank Kautsky said tickets to be serial numbered and a box office statement to be made out and signed by both parties. Some discussion was had as to advisability of place a large sign in center field at the Ball Park, and allowing the ! . E. L.& P.P. to have this space, no definate action was taken however. The receiving of bids for new linoleum for the Controller's office, the Mayor' s office and the front part of the Engineer' s office was authorized by the Board. Only one bid for the concession privelage at the Municipal Ball Park was received, that being from Phil Zuttermeister, who offered 30% of the net profit for this concession. The Board accepted this proposition. Claims to the amount of 10,137.49were allowed after which the Board adjourned. yor. Attest : e/e;Aaff-J City Clerk.
