The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said
Board, Friday February 21, 1936, at 9 :00 o' clock
A.M. Messrs. Joseph M. Walterman, Simeon Hodgin,
William Kelley, Jr. being present the following
proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were
approved as read in the Council.
Change order No . 9 authorizing certain changes
in sewer lines was presented to the Board for its
signature.
Fire Chief Williams reported that he had been
able to have members of his department repair
the fire ladders which were broken and the cost
was $51.50, thus affecting a saving of over :1>50.00.
Some discussion was had in regards to the Municipal
Ball Park and the Board decided that the proposition
of erecting temporary buildings was wrong and that
if the Council wanted to go ahead with this project ,
then permanent building should be erected.
Claims to the amount of ` 18,842.57 were allowed
after which the Board adjourned.
