A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA; INSTRUCTING
THE ZONING ORDINANCE REVIEW COMMITTEE TO
EVALUATE AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS ON
POSSIBLE CHANGES TO THE DEVELOPMENT CRITERIA
FOR THE HOTEL RESORT DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Key Biscayne (the "Council") finds that
it is in the best interest of the Village of Key Biscayne (the "Village") for the Zoning Ordinance
Review Committee to evaluate and provide recommendations on possible changes to the
development criteria in the Hotel Resort District; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Recitals Adopted. That each of the recitals stated above is hereby adopted
and confirmed.
Section 2. Directions to the Zoning Ordinance Review Committee. That pursuant to
Article XIV. Zoning Ordinance Review Committee, Section 2-215. Jurisdiction, Duties, the Village
Council hereby instructs the Zoning Ordinance Review Committee to evaluate and submit
recommendations on possible changes to the development criteria for the Hotel Resort District
including, but not limited to use, setbacks, lot coverage, height, floor area ratio and any other criteria
deemed within the development parameters of the Village.
Section 3. Effective Date. That this resolution shall be effective immediately upon
adoption hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of January, 2009.
