Friday December 14th,1934.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana _ met in -regular session at the office of said Board.
. Friday December loth,. 1934,. at 9mo °clock A.M. All the members .of said
Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder`_and. Williams being present, the fol-
lowing' proceedings were had to-wit: '
.The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
• The Board granted Dr. Wilcoxen, the use of the Council Chamber, for
meeting of Townsend Pension League, on next Sunday afternoon.
The Committee of Council acting as a Board of Works of . the City of
Richmond met at their office and considered the bids submitted for
the collection, removal and disposal of garbage and dead animals in
the City of Richmond,- for-the period commencing January 1, 1935 and
ending December 31, 1938, according to notice given requesting said ,
bids, as follows:

' It being shown to the Committee that the notice for bids was duly
published according to law, and that all bidsewere in proper form and
were accompanied by proper deposit and proper non-collusion affidavitE
the Committee: now takes said bids under consideration, and finds that
the bid of Lee Ridgeway in the sum of $33,072.00 is the lowest and
best bid submitted, and now accepts said bid, and now requests the
City Attorney to prepare a contract and ubmit the same to this Com-
mittee for its consideration and approva at 9 o 'clock A.M. on Monday
December 17th, 1934, and notifies said bi der to submit his bond in
the sum of $$, 500.0Qvith proper surety thereon, for the approval of
the Committee at said time.
Claims in amount of $772.82 were allowed.
