RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF A FAIR
AND OPEN CONTRACT FOR CARTERET PARK
CONCRETE SIDEWALK REPAIRS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret has a need for protessional services as a lair and
open contract pursuant to the provisions of N..1.S.A. 19:44A -20.5 et seq: and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing A�aent has determined that the \ alue of the contract can and
ntay ,�xill exceed $17.500: and
WHEREAS, the Borough has. through a - Fair and Open" process. advertised on its
NNebsite for the receipt of proposals: and
WHEREAS, the Borou11h of Carteret retained the ser\ ices of S. Brothers. Inc. lur the
sidc«alk repairs for Carteret Park: and
WHEREAS, the above mentioned vendor completed and submitted all required
documentation: and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Ma\ or and Council of the Borouch
of Carteret authorizes the Finance Department on behalf of the Mayor and 1301
Council to issue and execute a Purchase Order for the foregoing to the above vendor
through the Fair and Open Process. � \ith funds certified Mailable by the Chief Financial
Ofticer:and Acct. T- 25 -56- 816 -202
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the CFO has been authorized to arrange to pa} for
the foregoing in accordance \\ ith the terms of the purchase order not to exceed
S43.900.00.
