The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session -at the office of said
Board, Friday November 23rd, 1934, at 9 o 'clock A. ivi. All the mem-
bers of said Board, Messrs, Credo, Schnieder and Williams being
present , the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the p receeding. meeting were read and approved. -
The Board upon being advised, that the Common Council et their
meeting held November 19th, 1934, by unanimous vote of ell the
members present, instructed the Board to advertise for bids, for
the collection, removal and disposal of all garbage and dead ani-
mals in the City of Richmond, Indiana , the Board directed the
Clerk to advertise for bids under the cityts plans and specificat-
ions for collection, removal et disposal o.f all garbaa•e and dead
animals, bids to be received December 10th, 1934.
'A petition for arc light in Southwest 1st Street:, between Nation-
al Road and Southwest "D" Street was received and referred to the
Sup 't, , of Light Plant for investigation and report .
The Board renew Meter contract with General Electric Company, for
meters for year ending December let, 1935.
The Board award contract with 'Wallace, Tiernan Products Co. , for
a. La:ra•e Visible Vacuum Solution Feed Chlorinator with automatic
control, complete @ price of 53490.00.
Claims in amount of 4299 , 65, were allowed and ordered paid.
