Friday November l6th, 1934.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Friday Novemoer 16th,. 1934, at 9 o ' clock A.Zvi. All the members of
said Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present, the
following proceedings were had, to-wit :

The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Permission was granted Willard Z. Carr, to cut the curb for driveway
on south side of Main Street, between South l4th & 15th Streets at
Lot 9-10 -& 11, Mendenhall & Coffins Addition, for driveway.
Permission was granted the Shell Petroleum Corp. , to cut the curb •
at southeast corner of East Main & 16th Streets at Lot No. 1, Gates
Audition, work to be done as specified by the City Plan Commission
under the supervision of City Civil Engineer.
Councilman Frank Shissler, suomitted a letter received by him from
JoH.Pinsen, Supt. , of International Harvester Co. , regarding the rough
and poor condition of North "E" Street, stating that last spring
the work was started on the intersection of North 8th & "E" Streets
out was not continued past their plant, requesting that this street
oe resurfaced at the earliest possible date, which would be greatly
appreciated oy all the folks who drive' over it two or three times
each day to and from their work. On account of the lateness of the
season and shortage of funds, the same was taken under advisement
for the time ceing, with the hope the incoming administration may
oe able to have street. resurfaced as requested.
The Board approved the various payrolls to Novemoer 16th, l934 and •
claims in amount of 9448. 86 were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,
