Friday November 2nd, 1934.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Puolic Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Friday November 2nd, 1934, at 9 o 'clock A. All the mernoers of said
Board, hessrs, Crabb, Schnieder end Williams toeing present, the fol-
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the nreceeding meeting were reed and approved.
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons interested or
whose property is affected by the vacation of a portion of the alley
between Northwest Bth end Sedgwick Streets, running from Peacock Road
to the 1st alley north of Peacock Road, running east to Sedgwick Street
as ,provided for under- Declaratory Resolution No. 251-1934. After hea.rinp
all persons interested who appeared, and no remonstrance having been
filed against the proposed vacation of said alley, the Board takes actin;
on said resolution, the same being confirmed with out modification.
The Board now order that a list or roll oe prepared of all owners or
holders of property, and of valuaole interests therein, sought to oe
taken or to oe injuriously affected, which list or roll shall also
descrioe the property beneficially effected.

Street Commissioner, was authorized to purchase coal or fuel to be
used on F. R. S. projects, for the comfort of the laborers.
Street Commissioner, was authorized to order a car load of A. C.u.
• Asphalt, in drum lots same to be paid for out of next years budget .
Street Commissioner, was directed to change sewer at North 22nd and
"]J" Streets, from 12!!“pipe to 18" cipe and take out the bucket trans
in an effort to relieve conditions of water running into the base-
ments from said sewer.
In matter of petition. for extending water main in South 4th Street
from South I"0" to 'P" Street, the Water Works Corporation, reported
line not needed for fire protection, and the installation would oe
prohioitive both to the property owners and Water Narks Corporation.
The Board approved the various payrolls to November 1st, 134;
Claims in the amount of. '.999 . 77 were allowed.
