The Special Council Committee, acting Board •of Public Works of the
City of Richmond, India.na,- met in regular session at the office of
said Board, Friday October 19th, 1934, at 9: o 'clock A.M. All the
members of said Board, Messrs, Craob, Schnieder and .Williams being
present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved-.
Matter of constructing terraced seats at amphitheatre in Glen Park
under FERA labor, referred to co.iinittee by council, was taken under
advisement for investigation.
The Board approved a project to trim trees over the City, using
r'. 1 .R.A.labor, as requested by Mr. Reid, administrator for the County.
A petition for extension of water main in South 4-th Street, from
South "0" to "P" Street, was received and referred to the Richmond
Water Works Corp. , for investigation and report.
The Stre-et Commissioner, was directed to secure prices on ATiaGe- Pipe
necessary in making fill along Clear Creek Park grounds on Roth side
of National Road, to be paid for. in 1935.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll of benefits and damages
in matter of vacation of west part of Northwest "F" Street, from
•
West 7th Street to alley east, under Declaratory Resolution No. 250-
1934, fixing the amount of damages to the City at 015. 00, and fix-
ing November 9th, 1934 , at 9 o ' clock A.M. as date and time of hear-
ing remonstrance on benefits assessed and damages awarded.
The Board were notified, that the Indiana Railroad Co. , would start
on Monday next, to repairrthe floor between their rails on the
Doran Bridge.
The Board approved payrolls to October 16th, 1934, and approved.
