Phase 3 NJDOT FY2018 Municipal Aid Application Preparation; and WHEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engineers, T &M Associates, possess the requisite skill and expertise to provide said services; and WHEREAS, T &M Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said engineering services at a total cost not to exceed $3.650.00: and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal: and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available forsaidpurpose. As you know, the NJDOT Municipal Aid Grant program is a significant resource for municipalities. Municipal Aid provides funding to maintain and improve the state's local transportation infrastructure by providing financial assistance to municipalities for local transportation projects. Eligible activities may include resurfacing, rehabilitation, and/or reconstruction of roads or bridges. This year there is a total of $151.25 million available to support awards through this program with an additional $5 million available for municipalities that qualify for urban aid. There are no stated matching requirements for this program and applications must be completed and submitted online at njsagelegacy .intelligrants.com/Login. SCOPE OF SERVICES Prepare Application 1. Provide all applicant information SCHEDULE AND FEE All documentation will be assembled for submittal to New Jersey Department of Transportation's online grant system. We will also prepare a copy to be presented to the Borough and a copy will be kept on file with our office. We propose to provide the above outlined services for accost not to exceed $3,650.00. We will invoice the Borough in accordance with our current contract. This proposal is specifically limited to the scope of services outlined above and includes ongoing dialogue with the State as well as the Borough.
