The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Monday October let, 1934, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said
Board Messrs;._Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present , the fol-
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.

The Board meet to hear remonstrances if- any, of persons interested or
whose property is affected under Declaratory Resolution No, 250-193 -,
providing for the vacation of a portion of Northwestt1E" Street (form-
ally Chestnut Street ) from west line of Northwest 7th Street to the
east line of alley, east of said Northwest 7th Street . No one appear-
ing and no remonstrance having been filed against said vacation,
thereupon, the Board being fully advised in the matter take final
action on said resolution, the same being confirmed without modifi-
cation. And the Board orders that a list or roll be prepared of all
owners or holders of property, and of valuable interests therein,
sought to. be taken or to be injuriously affected, which list or roll
shall also describe the property beneficially affected.
Mr. Schnieder, was authorized to have the heating plant in No. 5,
Hose House placed in proper repair.
The Board approved the various payrolls to October 1st, 1931 .
The Board deciding to attend the Municipal League meeting at port-
; ayne , Indiana , on October 3-4-& 5th, 1934, decided they would have
no meeting until Monday October oth, 1934, unless something unforseen
should cause a meeting before said date.
The Board then adjourned,
