Friday September 28th, 1934.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said.
Board, Friday September 2gth, 1934, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the
members of said ':Board, Messrs, Craoo, Schnieder and Williams being
present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceedihg meeting were read and approved.
Pursuant to postponL.ient to this date, the Board meet to hear re 1/.

monstrs.nces if any, of persons whose property is affedted under
Declaratory Resolution No. 249-1934. providing for the opening and
extention of the Whitewater Boulevard from near the Doran Bridge
to North 10th Street . No one appearing or remonstrating against
said proposed opening and extention, thereupon, being fully advised
in the matter, the -Board takes action on said resolution, confirm-
ing, without modification, all former action taken on the same.
And the Board now orders that list or roll be prepared of all
owners or holders of property, and of valuable interests therein
sought to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which list or
roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected.
The matter of charging property owners the sum of $10. 00, for
taping the sewers east of South 9th Street from South "L" Street
south, which order was promulgated by the Board January 15, 1934.
The Board on motion decide as that the above sewers, were con-
structed without oost to the property owner, that the sum of 010.
for such taps, was not excessive under the circumstances, and •
that the former order of the Board be not• changed and the engineer
be instructed to charge the sum of 010.00 for each tan made .
The question of constructing sanitary water closets or out-houses
in Glen Miller was discussed.,with persons erecting such closets
with ERA labor, same was taken under advisement.

Mr. Walter Reid, appeared before the Board stating that property
owners along the north side of West Main Street from Easthaven Ave.
east, were contemplating the construction of cement sidewalks ad-
jacent to their property from Easthaven Avenue, east, property own-
ers furnishing the materiel laoor to be furnished by ERA. and re-
quested the city co-operate by building walk along their property.
The Boarcdirect the proper fills be made on north side of West Main
Street adjacent to property owned by the City and known as Clear.
Creek Park , for future construction of cement sidewalks.
The Board was requested to place material on S .W.14th Street, from
Main Street To National Road, taken under advisement for investi-
gation.
Claims in amount of 4f:7665.94, were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,
