Monday September 24th, 1934•
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of,
said Board, Monday September 24th, 1934, at 9 .10 °clock A. M.
lvlessrs, • Schnieder and Williams present ; Mr. Cra.ob absent . Two
members of said. Board being present , the following proceedings
were had, to-wit
• The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The Board met to hear all persons interested or whose property
is affected by the opening and extension of Whitewater Boulevard
from near the Doran Bridge to North loth Street, as provid d
under Declaratory Resolution No. 249-1934. No one appearing or
remonstrating, the Board continue hearing to Friday September
28th, 1934, on account of aosence of Mr. Craoo, prest of Board.
The ;natter of charging for tapping the sewer east of South 9th
Street and south of South "L" Street, was continued to Friday
September 28th, 1934, account of absence of city civil engineer.
A communication was received from Mr. Chas. Coale, requesting
thpt the street oetween the rails and the outside of rails of
street car tracks in Southwest 3rd Street, from Main to National
Road, be repaired as the same is in a very' bad condition, was -
referred to City Civil Engineer and Street Commissioner.
Claims in amount of 894. 51 were allowed.
The Clerk and City Engineer, oeing in attendance of meeting
with the Tax Adjustment Board on the Cities 193 ouciget, Assist-
ent City Engineer, Everett Davis, acted as clerk of Board.
