Tuesday September 4th, 1934.
The Special Council Cominittee,Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session Tuesday September
4th, 1934, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members- -of said Board Messrs,
Crabb;, Schnieder and Williams being present, the following pro-
ceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
The Building Inspector, presented quotation for weather striping
the windows in the Radio Station, submitted by Roy Thompson, as
follows :
Weather striping two windows with vAmerican double type
same as the hose houses $14.00
Using single type strip 10.40
The same was taken under advisement .
The Board received request of the Repuolican Committee thru
Supt . , Coleman, for permission to hold a meeting in Glen Miller
' Park and using the amphitheatre stage for speakers at a meeting
to be held probably next week. The Board decide to request the
comman council to grant the Board permission, t'o grant permission
to either of the major parties or responsible persons to use
the park for such gatherings.
Claims in amount of 01237..93 were allowed.
The Board approved the various payrolls to September 1, 1934.
The Board then adjourned,
