The Special Council Committee acting Board of Public Works of the
City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office
of said Board, Friday August 31st, 1934, at 9 o 'clock A. M.
All the members of said Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and 'Wil-
liams being present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceedirig=;meetings were read and approved.
The Board authorize D. C. Hess; Sup 't . , of Light Plant, to have
the history of the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant
published in Richmond £ ewspapers, and have the same printed be-
fore proposed grand opening of the plant.
The Board authorized the Mayor and Clerk, to file petition for
E.R.A. labor in indexing city records, from 1840 to 1870.
The Board unanimously adopted Declaratory Resolution No. 2.49-1934,
for extension of Whitewater Boulevard from its present terminus
near the Doran Bridge on west bank of the Whitewater River, to
: North 10th' Street, north of said river.

Claims in amount of $7215.84 were allowed.
