The Special Council Committ:ee,Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Monday August 27th, 193+, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said
Board; Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present, the fol-
lowing proceedings were .ha.d, to-wit
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The Board directed and authorized the Street Commissioner, to repair
or replace cement Sidewalk and Curb & Gutters, were necessary, upon
th'e payment by the property rnwner of materials -to be used on the work,
and wherever possible to have same paid directly by the property
owner to the person furnishing the materials.
The Board received copies of contract, from Mr. Charles, H. Hurd,
for Engineering Services by and- between ,Charles H. Hurd, Consulting
Engineer and the City of Richmond, Indiana, in matter of intercepting
sewerb and sewage disposal plant . Said contract and agreement was
read in full to the Board and City Attorney, the Board referred the
same to the City Attorney. for investigation and report, the City
• Attorney requested time for studying said contract, which was granted.
Claims in amount of 01196.22 werw allowed.
• The Board then adjourned, subject to the call of the City Attorney
for his report on the contract & agreement of Charles H. Hurd.
Tuesday August 28th, 1934.
Pursuant to adjournment, Monday August 27th, 19311-, the Special Coun-
cil Committee, Board of Public Works, met in special session at the
office of said Board Tuesday August 28th, 1934+, at 9 o 'clock A. M.
All the members of said Board,Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams
being present , the following proceedings were had, to- wit :
City Attorney Ray K. Shiveley, reported that he had gone over the
contract and agreement of Charles H. Hurd, Consulting Engineer and
the City of Richmond, Indiana, in matter of Engt eeming Services to
be remdered the City by the said Charles H. Hurd, in matter of inter-
cepting sewers and sewage disposal plant, and agreeable to said
Charles H. Hurd, he had added two additional paragraphs to said con-
tract, and in his opinion the contract and agreement was now ready
for the committee to sign if they approve of the same, Upon the reco-
mendation of the City Attorney, the Board together with the Mayor
•
sign the contract and agreement as amended. (See contract )
No further business appearing,
The Board then adjourned,
