Monday August 20th,1931+.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said
Board, Monday 'August c2Oth, 1934, at 9 o t clock A. a. All the members
of said Board, Messrs, Crabb; Schnieder and Williams being present,
the followingsproceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The matter of proposals received. from various Engineering Firms
for engineering services on proposed intercepting sewers and sewage
treatment plant, contemplated by the City under grant of the United
States Government, was discussed and it was decided that the Board
or City was in no position to award a contract to either of the
engineering firms, at this time, as there hadma yet -been any money
appropriated for such services, and the city has not received any
legal advice in the matter of such employment.
Claims in amount of $¢299.25, were allowed.
The Park Superintendent, was directed to take up the question with
the proper officers and make an effort to secure men to assist in
constructing rest room and installing water service in Clear Creek
Park, under the E.R.A.
The Board awarded the contract to Lanning & Hoff, in matter of
repairing the gutters etc. , on No. 3 Hose House, $125. 50.
The Board awarded the contract to Charles H. Crocker Co. , in matter
repairing gutter on main roof at. No. 4 Hose House, at 4110.00.
