The Special Council Committee acting Board of Public Works of the
City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the. office of
said Board Monday July 30th, 1934, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members -
of said Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present,
the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The Board received a petition for ornamental lighting system on
both sides of forth 21st Street, from Main to North "C" Street, I/
which was referred to Supt. of Light Plant, for investigation re-
port and recommendation.
Harold Coleman, Supt. of Parks was authorized to have the Stage
moved in amphitheatre from its present site, to the east of said
amphitheatre ground, employing house mover to do said work
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons whose prop-
erty is primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution No.923-1934,
•for the construction of cement ,sidewalks four feet wide on both
sides of North "A" Street, from North 19th to 20th Street. No one
appearing or .remonstrating against said assessment, ,th.e - Bbard ap-
proved a final assessment roll ,confirmingin all things .ahe orig-
inal assessment roll as heretofore approved, and now direct the
same be transmitted forthwith to the Department of. Finance.
• Complaint was entered by Chief of Police H. Ray, of water running
in basement through the cast iron covers in sidewalk over the
coal Shute, which was referred to City Civil Engineer, for invest-
igation and report.
The Board allowed claims in a. ount of 03.35.
The Board then adjourned,
