Monday July 16th,1934.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said
Board, Monday July 16th, 1934, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of
said Board, Messrs, Crabb., Schnieder and Williams being present , the
following proceedings were had, to-wit :
I/ The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Hos Honor Windsor B. Harris Mayor, informed the Board, that Consult-
ing Engineer Mr. Charles Hurd, would be in the city, this P. M. and
requested that the, Board "together with other members of the common
council, -meet at 4 P. M. in an effort to procure the proper inform-
ation on necessary,: procedure, in matter of constructing sewers and
sewage disposal wo:rks, under the government grant of Y$140,000.00.

The City Civil,;Engineer,, .reported the completion of contract of
Lee Ridgeway,, under Improvement Resolution No. 92 -1934, for the
impmovement of/ North "A" •Street, by constructing 4 foot cement side-
walks on both sides of said street, from North 19th to 20th Street.
The Board accepted, the same and approved a primary assessment roll
for the cost of said improvement.
The Board approved the various payrolls to July 16th, 1934, and
allowed claims in amount of $21, 256. 79.
The Board then adjourned,
