Monday July 2nd, 1934.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Monday July 2nd, 1934, at 9 .o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Board
Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present, the following
proceedings were had, to=wit
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
D. C. Hess, Sup 't. , of the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power' Plant,
was authorized to contract for the purchase of gravel & sand, with
the Greenville Gravel Company, so long as their price on same is
lower than elsewhere; also to purchase gravel from said company at
1933 prices on projects begun in 1933 and unfinished by said plant.
City- Engineer S..V.Hodgin, together with D. C. Hess, Sup 't. , of M.E.
L.& P.P. was authorized to investigate. the gravel and the best prices
obtainable for same delivered to the City Light Plant side track,
said gravel pit being at or near Miami, Ohio. ,
The Board allowed claims in amount of $14, 508.46, and approved the
various city payrolls to July 1st, 1934.
