A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT TO BUCKNAM AND ASSOCIATES FOR WELL NO.
11 AND WELL NO. 19 REHABILITATION PROJECTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $9,080
WHEREAS, on November 20, 2012, the City Council approved to use Bucknam
and Associates on an on -call basis to provide consultant services for Well No. 11 and
Well No. 19 (Resolution No. 2012 -017); and
WHEREAS, upon review of the services provided by Bucknam & Associates and
as staff proceeds to make payment, staff determined that although City Council had
approved for the Mayor to execute an agreement between the City and Bucknam and
Associates, an agreement may not have been executed; and
WHEREAS, staff verified that Bucknam & Associates provided the services
under the outstanding invoices in the amount of $9,080.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council authorizes the payment on the outstanding
invoices in the amount of $9,080 to Bucknam and Associates for the work rendered
relating to Well No. 11 and Well No. 19.
Section 2. That the City Council authorizes the use of Well No. 11 and Well
No. 19 project budget or the Water Fund to make this payment.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, 2014.
