AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IONA, IDAHO;
ADOPTING CERTAIN STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS
REGARDING THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUBDIVISIONS
WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS; PROVIDING
THAT THE ORDINANCE IS TO BE REFERRED TO AS
THE "SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE"; SETTING FORTH
PURPOSES OF THE ORDINANCE; DEFINING
CERTAIN TERMS; REQUIRING PLATTING BEFORE
SUBDIVISION OF ANY PARCEL OR TRACT OF
LAND; ESTABLISHING STANDARDS REGARDING
DEVELOPMENT OF SUBDIVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR
SURVEYING AND MONUMENTING; SETTING FORTH
REGULATIONS REGARDING CONFIGURATION OF
LOTS; ESTABLISHING STANDARDS FOR
CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF STREETS;
ESTABLISHING STANDARDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
ALLEYS AND EASEMENTS; REGULATING
DEVELOPMENT OF BLOCKS AND SIDEWALKS;
PROHIBITING DEVELOPMENT WITHIN FLOOD PLAIN
AREAS; ESTABLISHING STANDARDS FOR DESIGN
AND CONSTRUCTION OF WATER, SEWAGE AND
ELECTRICAL FACILITIES; SETTING FORTH
PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATIONS AND APPROVAL OF
PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLATS; ESTABLISHING
FEES FOR SUBDIVISION APPLICATIONS; AND
PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IONA, IDAHO THAT:
Section 1. Sections 10-1-1 through 10-1-19,
inclusive, of the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Iona,
Idaho, as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof, are hereby adopted.
Section 2. The summary of the Subdivision
ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "B" is hereby approved

and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to publish such
summary in lieu of publication of the ordinance in full.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective
upon its passage, execution and publication in the manner
provided by law.

October, 1993, at 7:00 p.m., at the Iona City offices, Iona,
Idaho, the City Council of the City of Iona, Idaho, will hold
a public hearing to consider the annexation and zoning of the
real properties described in. Exhibit A attached hereto. A
sketch plat is available for public inspection during business
hours at the office of the City Clerk. The proposed zoning of
such properties is R-1.
