ORDINANCE NO.j 7
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IONA, IDAHO;
ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF THE MAYOR,
COUNCILMEMBERS AND OTHER APPOINTIVE
OFFICERS; PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IONA, IDAHO THAT:
Section 1. Salary of Mayor. The Mayor shall
receive a salary of $1,200 annually, payable in monthly
installments at the end of each full calendar month during his
or her term.
Section 2. Salary of City Council. Each member
of the City Council shall receive a salary of $600 annually,
payable in monthly installments at the end of each full
calendar month during his or her term.
Section 3. Salaries of Employees and Appointive
Officers. The salaries of all employees or appointive
officers shall be determined by resolution of the City Council.
Section 4. Implementation. In the event the
Mayor or member of the Council shall serve for only a portion
of a calendar month due to the commencement or termination of
his or her term in office, such salary shall be prorated for
each full week of service.

Section 5. Effective Date. This Ordinance
shall become effective upon its passage, execution and
publication in the manner provided by law, and all salaries
provided herein shall commence on January 1, 1992.
