Discussion: FRASER PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Commissioners: Chair Steve Sumrall; Fran Cook, Scotty Brent (arrived at 6:50 p.m.), Katie Soles, Vesta Shapiro, Philip Naill and Jean Wolter Staff: Town Planner, Catherine Trotter Others: None Chairperson Sumrall called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. 1. Roll CaII: 2. Approval of Agenda: Minutes of May 26, 2010. Commissioner Soles moved, and Commissioner Shapiro seconded the motion to approve the minutes. Motion carried: 6 -0. 3. Open Forum: Welcome Jean Wolter! 4. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding: a. Development Permit Recreation Center Revised Landscaping Plan. PC had a follow up discussion on the motion from last meeting. The intent of the code was discussed. It was decided that the motion from last would remain and the applicant will bring back a phase 3 landscaping plan to minimize the visual impact of the large paved parking lot. No action. a. Subdivision Regulations. TP Trotter briefed the PC on pending code changes to the subdivision regulations relating to the acceptance of infrastructure process. A joint PC/TB public hearing has been scheduled for August 4, 2010 to incorporate these changes into the subdivision regulations and the SIA. TP Trotter mentioned that we would also be having a joint PC/TB public hearing on August 4, 2010 on the Rendezvous Open Space Parcel 4E Dedication Deadline extension. b. Community Revitalization Partnership Grant August 17 18. TP Trotter provided details on the grant. c. Fraser Sign Code. PC had a workshop on amendments to the code. 6. Staff Choice: PW has a bid opening scheduled for early July for 2 projects: Asphalt Slurry Seal for the paved portion of the WP to Fraser Trail and Wapiti Drive; and Sanitary Sewer Line Rehabilitation utilizing a pipe lining product for various locations in 'old Town.' The CIRSA video is available to be checked out. 7. Planning Commission Choice: Commissioner Shapiro moved, and Commissioner Nail! seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion carried: 7 -0.
