FULLY FUNDED CAPITAL ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $3,000,000 FOR
VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS IN AND BY THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET, IN
THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF
CARTERET, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. $3,000,000, representing a portion of the proceeds to be received
by the Borough of Carteret under the certain settlement agreement
by and between the Borough and United States Metal Refining
Company is hereby appropriated to the Capital Improvement Fund
for various capital improvements.
Section 2. The capital budget of the Borough is hereby amended to conform
with the provisions of this ordinance to the extent of any
inconsistency herewith. The resolution in the form promulgated by
the Local Finance Board showing full detail of the amended capital
budget and capital program as approved by the Director of the
Division of Local Government Services is on file with the Clerk
and is available there for public inspection.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect as provided by the law.
