A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO,
ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE MCCALL AREA COMPREHENSIVE PLAN;
PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the McCall Area Comprehensive Plan was prepared in accordance with the Idaho
Local Planning Act, Section 67-6508.
WHEREAS, the McCall City Council adopted the McCall Area Comprehensive Plan in
December 2007 and the Valley County Board of Commissioners adopted the same Plan for the
McCall Area of Impact in January 2008; and
WHEREAS, Idaho Code Section 67-6509 allows for amendments to such plans; and
WHEREAS, the Future Land Use Plan (FLUP) is displayed in Figure 14 of the McCall Area
Comprehensive Plan and identifies the future land uses; and
WHEREAS, the FLUP is an important planning and management tool to address growth issues
and implement the Vision Statement of the McCall Area Comprehensive Plan.
WHEREAS, a public hearing regarding amending the McCall Area Comprehensive Plan to
incorporate the Smart Growth Implementation Report was held by the McCall City Council on
February 9,2006.
WHEREAS, the Future Land Use Map of the McCall Area Comprehensive Plan was amended
to incorporate the Lardo Concept Plan map on page 13 and the West Valley Concept Plan map
on page 28 of Connecting McCall: Concept Plans for Lardo and West Valley prepared by ICF
Consulting for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA Report)on February 9, 2006.
WHEREAS, the City of McCall held a three day planning charrette September 29-October 1,
2009 and compiled a report that included events leading up to the charrette, the public meetings
and workshops, and the post charrette development of a final Framework Plan,
recommendations for Business Park design and development standards, engineering cost
estimates for utilities,next steps, and funding sources.
WHEREAS, the Business Park Planning & Design Charrette: Conclusions, Recommendations
and Framework Plan report was adopted by the McCall City Council on February 25, 2010 as a
planning document.
WHEREAS, ordinances amending the McCall City Code and Impact Area Code to account for
the new business park zone regulations were adopted by the McCall City Council on March 24,
2011 and the Valley County Board of Commissioners on April 4, 2011,respectively.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MCCALL,VALLEY COUNTY, IDAHO THAT:
Section 1: The Future Land Use Map (Figure 14) of the McCall Area Comprehensive Plan
is hereby amended to incorporate the Framework Plan (p. 23) in the Business Park Planning &
Design Charrette: Conclusions, Recommendations and Framework Plan report.
Section 2: For the portion of Figure 14 covered in page 23 of the Business Park Planning &
Design Charrette: Conclusions, Recommendations and Framework Plan report, any conflict
with the maps of that area of the FLUP will be controlled by the Business Park Planning &
Design Charrette: Conclusions, Recommendations and Framework Plan report.
Section 3: This resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and approval.
