A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE USE OF THE BATEMAN HALL ROOM #1 AND WAIVING THE RENTAL FEES
IN THE AMOUNT OF $220.
WHEREAS, a request was made by Assembly Member Anthony Rendon to host
a "Coffee with the Assemblyman" legislative update event at Bateman Hall; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the event is to present important information and
legislative updates to residents of California State Assembly District 63; and
WHEREAS, the event will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 6:00 p.m.
to 7:30 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council approves the use of City facilities and the waiver
of rental fees in the amount of $220.
Section 2. The City Council further finds that Assembly Member Anthony
Rendon's request serves the important public purpose of educating Lynwood residents
community -wide.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
