Spec, Meeting Nov. 24 1953.
Councilman Fischer offers the following Resolutiom.
"VHEREAS, the town of Wellsburg Iowa, desires to enter into a written
agreemerit�with the IOWA ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER CO. for STREET LIGHT
ING SERVICE together with the rates and charges tobe paid for such
energy and servic e, and, WHEREAS, a copy of said written contract
dated the 2$ th day of NOVEMBER, 1953 has been filed with the Clerk
of the TOti'PN of WELLSBURG, YOW1� end same is hereby made apart of the

written agreement has been presented to the Council, and all of the
members threof, and has been fully considered and discussed by Council,
NOW THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WELLSBURG
IOWA; Bnter into said written agree went and that bhe Mayor and Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said written
agreement, and to do all things necessary or required to make said
contract, and the terms thereof, binding and effective.
It was moved by Councilman t3antz ,And seconded by councilman ukones
that said Resolution, which has been fully read and considered by
the council, be passed and adopted.

AYE, Mayor Groninga declared said motion carried, and the resolution
passed and adopted this 24 th day of November, T953.
