The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the' office of said Boar Monday June 4t#, 1934, at 9. o '•clock A. M. Messrs, Schnieder and Wil- liams present; Mr. Crabb_: absent, two members- of said Board being pre - ent, the following proceedings were had, to-wit : ; The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. ;; Street Commissioner J. V. Schneider, was given permission to purchase from 300 to 1000 feet of rubber hose for sewer flushing, if appropri- ation for same is available. A petition for water main extension in Northwest 17th Street, from West Main Street to the Peacock Road, was received and referred to lithe Richmond Water Works Corporation for investigation and report. The Clerk was instructed to prepare bill for an ordinance appropri- ating money out of the General Fund of M.E.L.& P.P. amount to be de- termined, after estimate is made by Mr. Hess, for changing and in- stalling traffic signals,. at 14th, l8th, 20th, 22nd Streets and main entrance to Glen Miller Park, -on Main Street; also South & North9AH I Streets, and present the same to council at their meeting to be held this evening. HThe Sup 't. , of M.E.L.& P.P. was empowered to make contract with either ilof the gravel companies, for furnishing the said plant with gravel and ' sand, as the prices quoted in bids received May 28th, 1934, was not for said materials to be used by the plant, Mr. Hess, was authorized . to contract for said gravel and sand, with any company, for the best and lowest prices obtainable. jiClaims in amount of $382.99, were allowed. 1 jI • The Board then adjourned, • • J I I eP est. of Board it Attest : C erk of Board • II • • II
