- _Monday May 28th, 1934.The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board '
Monday May 28th, 1934, at 9 o 'clock A.M.All the members of said Board
Messrs, Crabb., Schnieder and Williams being present, the following
proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Hess, Sup 't . , of M. E.L.& P.P . was authorized to proceed with the
installation of traffic signaler; changing the present system in Main
Street, to. conform to the lights at llth & 12th & Main Streets.

The Board received bids for improvement of Marth"A" Street, by con-
structing Oft. cement sidewalks on both sides of street, from forth
19th to 20th Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 923-1934, as
follows, to-wit :
" Lee Ridgeway, bid:
Cement sidewalk 4 foot wide complete 40. 250 sq-ft .
The bid of Lee Ridgeway, being the only bid received, and being
within the estimate of the engineer, the contract was so awarded.
The Board received bids for furnishing and applying, by power distri-
butor, the following bituminous materials, to-wit :
