The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Friday May 18th, 1934, at 9 o °click A.M. All the members of said Boa c Messrs, Crabb., Schnieder and Williams being present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. IA communication from the Secretary of Municipal League of Indiana, in matter of re-taxing City owned utilities, which was referred to the Sup 't. , of Light Plant. ' The Board signed contract for lamp bulbs for year ending June 1, 1935 with °Erbe ° s° contractors The Board sign and approve a renewal of the contract of Earl J . Moore for the year beginning May 16th, 1934 and ending May 15th, 1935, re- newing a certain contract between them dated June 2, 1933, and all th terms and conditions of said contract, excepting that the rental pro- vided in said contract shall be the sum of Two Hundred Dollars(p20O. ) per annum, one-half of which has already been paid by said E. J. Moor to the City of Richmond, and the remainder of which is to be paid by said E.J.Moore on or before August 1, 1934; excepting also that the privileges granted by said original contract shall not be held to in- clude under this contract the municipal golf course or any refreshment privileges on or about the same or in connection therewith. It is further understood and agreed between the parties hereto that the pro- vision for additional years mentioned in said original contract is hereby cancelled. The Board authorize D.C.Hess Sup 't. , of Light Plant, to contract for two cars of coal per day for thirty days, with the United Colleries Company for 1419 N.& S. Oriteron coal at price of $1. 50, f.o.b.mines. D. C. Hess, Sup 't. , of Light Plant, was authorized to advertise in Ithe Richmond Palladium and the Richmond Item for the coming month. II The Board allowed claims in amount of $$3441.49; including the claim of $ 1137. 75, to Wayne County, Indiana, as the cities share of the primary election held May 8th, 1934.
