We herewith beg your honorable body that permission be denied this group for the following reasons; First, these lots are bordered on both sides by gardens The gardens would be ruined in retrieving balls. Second; some of us work at night and the noise coming from the diamond would prevent' sleep, day- and night. Third; These lots are located one square from the new Fairview school where there is ample playground for all. Lastly; We are sure this program if carried out, would become an intolerable nuisance; for the above reasons we beg your cooperation. Yours truly, • Signed by, H. H.
