A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR THE TOWN'S ADOPTION OF THE PERMANENT SINGLE VOTER REGISTRATION SYSTEM, AS PROVIDED IN CHAPTER 98.041, FLORIDA STATUTES, AS AMENDED BY LEGISLATIVE ACT DURING THE 1973 SESSION OF THE STATE LEGISLATURE IN ITS PASSAGE OF HB 332 AND SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 73 -155 - FLORIDA STATUTES. WHEREAS, the State Legislature, during its regular session in 1973 and by virtue of its passage therein of HB 332, as set forth in Chapter 73 -155 Florida Statutes, provides for AMENDING Section 98.041 of the Florida Statutes to require all Counties and Municipalities to adopt a Permanent Single Voter Registration System to be put into ef- fect prior to January 1, 1974: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, hereby adopts the Permanent Single Voter Registration System as provided in Chapter 98.041 and as AMENDED by Chapter 73 -155 of the 1973 Florida Statutes, SECTION 2. That the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, hereby re- quests the County Commission of Palm Beach County, Florida, and the Supervisor of Elections of Palm Beach County, Florida, to arrange for boundaries of the Precincts presently used in the Town of Gulf Stream to conform with the present Town's boundaries. SECTION 3. That the Town Clerk is hereby directed to notify the County Commissioners and Supervisor of Elections of Palm Beach County of this action by delivery of a COPY of this Resolution to those respective bodies.
