Office of Special Council Committee
City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday March 26th,1934._
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Monday March 26th, 1934, at 9 o °clock A. M. All the members of said
Board, Messrs, Crabo, Schnieder and Williams being present, the fol-
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
, Street Commissioner J .V.Schneeider, was authorized to construct storm
water sewer in the alley between South 8th & 9th Street from South°A"
Street north under the proposed trench dug by the Light Plant in lay-
ing their conduits.
The Board approved the sale of the 2000 K.W. Turbine, Condenser and
Pump, of the M.E.L.& P.P. to Robert J . Smith, for Princeton Mine Co. ,
of Princeton, Indiana, for the sum of $5,000.00 f. o.b. cars Richmond,
Indiana, being the appraised price as fixed and determined by the
appraisers appointed by the Judge of Wayne County, Indiana, Circuit
Court.
The Mayor and acting Board of Public Works, sign report for taxation
under form # 4+5, and form # 45-A. submitted by the Indiana State Board
‹; of Tax Commissioners, on property of the Municipal Electric Lighting
& Power Plant belonging to the City of Richmond, Indiana, and order
said reports filed with said Indiana State Board of Tax Commissioners.
Claims in amount of p1738. 78, were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,
