Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond. Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Friday .larch 1Gth; 1934, at 3 o ' clock A. M. sa id the members f O Board, Messrs, Crabh, Schnieder and Williams being pr'e,sent , the. fol- lowing proceedings were had, to-wit : . The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. Messrs, Geo. Eggetiieyer and Harry- Reeves, committee from the Reid Mem- orial Hospital Trustees, appeared before the Board and presented a co-cy of Resolution adopted by the Trustees as follows, viz :RESOLUTION :- Adopted at a meeting of Reid Mee on al. ios-pi.tal. Board of Trustees, held March 13, 1934, to- „it . BE IT RESOLVED That the report of the Building and. Grounds Commit- tee concerning its meeting with the Special Committee ci np cl, of Council con- cerning the establishment of a detention home be approved, and. said Committee is instructed to continue its meetings with the city officials. BE IT F URTHER' RESOLVED That it is -the desire of ,the Board of Trus- tees k u with the s t t i- establish- ment ��e� �o cooperatefully tiri �_ t,ue City in investigating the of a detention hospital for contageous diseases to the end that persons requiring care in such an establishment be ,given proper atten tion, aria that such an institution may be. operated in an efficient an ' economical .Manner and for the general good 'of all concerned. The committee together with Architect :sir. The Board of Works, discussed the proposition of moving the present frame building used as a detention house from West Main & l . ir Street to the ground owned by the City, north of said hospital , the Hospital Committee entered objections to such a move, the Board of Works, de- cided to visit the grounds north of hospital owned by the city, 'oefor taking any further action in the matter, and requested the hospital committee to continue their investigations. A communication was received from C .F.!ringenfel_ter Su:7 ' t . , ren_sy, R.R. assuring the Board everything possible will be done to overcome the complaint of railroad crews holding crossings over time . H. Coleman Sup ! t . of Parks was authorized to make sale of old junk accumulated at 'parks. The Clerk was directed to notify the C.& 0, Railroad Co. , and the Richmond Street Railway Co. , to fix their crose4gs at .North fDtt St, the same being reported to be in dangerous condition.
