HomeMy Public PortalAbout02-23-1934 270 Office of Special Council Committee 0 City of Richmond, Indiana, Friday February P3rd_4934.— The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Friday February 23rd, 1934, at 9 o °clock A. M. All the members. of •sai Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present , the fol- lowing proceedings Were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. The Board received "Warranty Deed" signed by Jas. T. .. Cronin, Helen Cronin, his wife and Felix Cronin. conveying a part of Section 5 Twsp. 13, North Range 1, West, containing 5 acres more or less on west side of Whitewater River aling Whitewater Boulevard, purchased by the City Plan Commission at price of iy750.00, was read and on motion referred to the City Attorney for investigation and report back to the Board. A petition signed by Henry Beck, for permission to cut the curb and replace the same with driveway curb on 1st street side of Lot 54,West Richmond, Addition, s.i,tua,te on north. t corner of West Main & Northw- t 1st Street, was received and reffered to City Engineer, for investi- gation and report. • The Board received copy of approval of Rules, Regulations and Rate Schedule, for Electric Light, Power & Heating Service of the Munici- pal Electric Lighting & .Power Plant of Richmond, Indiana, for Rich- mond and Vicinity, effective on all billings on and after Feb. 1, 193 filed in accordance with Order 411683, approved December 19,- 1933, E-14, Cancelling P. S. C.E. No. E-13, approved Feb. 17th, 1934, which was ordered placed on file. Chief of Police, H. Ray, was authorized to have lighting system in Radio Station and Court Room finished, already begun and not finished under the C.W.A. on account of receiving materials to late to finish the project.
