. Friday February l6th, l931a The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boar
Friday February 16th, _ l931-, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the memoers of
said Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present , the
following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and ap'Droved;
kr. Schneider, Street Commissioner, was directed to investigate and
take action in causing the hedge on south side of National Road west
of SW. 16th Street cut down or removed if found necessary.
Mr. Hess, Sup 't. , of Light Plant was authorized to purchase Indiana
Coal in amount necessary to make proper tests of the same, in order
to determine whether it would be to the best interests of the City
to use Indiana Coal at the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power
Plant ,

The Board approved the various payrolls to date, and claims in the
amount of 42349. 81, were allowed.
