e Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boar '
Monday January 22nd, 1934, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of sai
Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present, the fol-
lowing proceedings were had, to- wit
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved,
The Board together with the City Civil Engineer, held a conference-
in matter of resurfacing streets, as to whether to proceed with the
work as outlined, under the old contracts for furnishing materials
or to advertise for new bids on said materials, it was decided that
it would be more costly to advertise for new bids at this time, than
is costing under the old bids, the Board decided to await. until the
work as outlined is finished before asking for new bids.
Mr. Robert Retd, appeared before the Board, in an effort to ascertain
as to what the cities attitude will be this year, on the various en-
tertainments which may be held at the amphitheatre in Glen Miller
Park the coming season, after some discussion in the matter, Mr.Reid
was instructed to get in conference with Mr. Coleman, Park Superin-
tendent, as he was in charge in the park activities, after said con-
ference, to report back to the Board for their approval or otherwise.
Claims in amount of $5209,37, were allowed.
